Every rate declared in public

The rate goes on the board first.

Every month we post what each savings plan earned — here, in public, on the rate board — before a single rupee reaches a passbook. Same number on the board, on your dashboard, in your statement.

The stages

Stages, sized to what you can set aside.

Each stage is taken at one fixed amount. Open as many plans as you like, or move an open plan up to a bigger stage.

Work it out

What a month at the current rate looks like.

This uses the rate actually declared this month. Change the amount to see how it lands. Next month's rate will be a different number.

A projection only — it assumes this month's rate repeats, which it will not.

The process

How a plan runs.

Four steps, and you can see all of them from your dashboard.

Open the plan

Create an account, pick a plan, and name your amount. The request sits until the company confirms your payment.

The company confirms

Pay at the office or by transfer. Staff match it against your reference number and the plan opens from that date.

The month is declared

At month end the company posts one rate per plan to the public board. The same number lands in every passbook on that plan.

Add, move up, or close

Open another plan, move this one up to a bigger stage, or close it at maturity. Every entry stays in your ledger.

The record

Every month we've declared.

Every month since the company opened. A blank means no rate was declared for that plan that month.

Read this before you put money in

Rates are declared, not promised. A rate posted for one month says nothing about the next. The company can declare a lower rate, or skip a month. No figure on this site is a guaranteed or contracted return.

Check who you're paying. Ask the company which registration this scheme runs under and get it in writing. In India, schemes that accept public deposits are regulated, and any savings scheme has to fit inside those rules. If a rate sounds far above what banks or ordinary investments return, ask exactly where the money comes from.

Keep your own record. Every entry in your online passbook should match a receipt from the company. If the two disagree, the receipt is what counts — raise it with the company the same week.

Questions

What people ask about the plans.

Is the rate fixed for the whole term?

No. One rate is declared per plan per month. It is posted on the board above and then applied to every open plan on that plan. Next month gets its own number, decided separately.

When does my plan start earning?

From the date the company marks it active — that is, once your payment is confirmed. A plan opened mid-month is included in that month's declaration; a plan opened after the declaration waits for the next one.

Can I add money later?

Yes, in two ways. Open another plan at any stage, or move an existing plan up to a bigger stage by adding the difference. Both go in as requests and apply once the company confirms the payment.

How do I know the number on my dashboard is right?

Every credit in your passbook shows the principal it was calculated on, the rate used, and the month. Multiply the first two and you should get the third. The rate shown is the same one on the public board.

What happens at maturity?

Talk to the company. Depending on your plan you can close it, roll it into a new one, or put the balance toward a purchase. Nothing rolls over automatically.

Is this the same as a bank deposit?

No, and the difference matters. Bank deposits are insured up to a limit and pay a contracted rate. This is a scheme run by a company, with a rate the company sets each month. Ask for the registration details and read them before you commit.
